Welcome to Hair Styling by Adina

Hey! If you're reading this thank you for visiting my website. Browse a bit, purchase some products, toss me an email with any questions you may have. I can assure you, you won't be disappointed. I swear by these products because I have used so many different brands and find Style the Runway to create the hold, shine, and restoration hair and wigs require while washing and styling.

Enough self advertising on my own website now. I was thinking and figured I'd put it in writing (typing? I mean is it writing if you're typing?). It's funny because my husband just bought me a sweatshirt that read, "I never thought I would be a super cool hair stylist, but here I am killing it." As a kid, if you would've asked me what I wanted to be when I was all grown up I would NOT have said hairstylist. In fact, I made a point of saying I will never be 3 things: a teacher, hairstylist, or run my own business. If you know me, I hate cliche. I like being the black sheep, coming up with new creative ways to do things, the starter of a trend not the follower. I guess, I get bored of things quickly, including ideas that I hear over and over. When I was younger EVERYONE was becoming teachers and hairstylists. Or so I thought. Thing is I am really good with kids and always good with hair. I was the babysitter in my neighborhood and the one all my neighbors came to to get their hair done for any event.

Irony, right?  Fast forward a number of years and I taught Early Childhood for about 10 years, overlapping with the beginning of my hairstyling business. I never thought I had it in me to run a business, didn't know how, and maybe a teensy bit afraid I couldn't learn how. I don't teach anymore, but I loved it when I did. I am fascinated with the human brain, especially the way it develops from a young age. I also found I love working with hair, styling and creating with it.

So, here I am, the end of 2021 and I am running a small business washing and setting wigs, styling hair for events, haircutting, selling hair products, and more ideas on the horizon.

Man plans...and all that jazz.
